    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The lectures aren't very helpful as far as preparing for the exam. The essay questions are very difficult to answer, even with reading the material and attending every lecture. Also, the final is worth over 50% of your grade, which is obviously very stressful.

    Course highlights:

I learned a little about each of the works we discussed, but as far as anything that can be applied for the future, nothing. The discussions were helpful in preparing for the class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read and try to understand each of the works. The exams require specific examples from each work, so make sure you understand the passages discussed in class. Be prepared to be moderately stressed about the great unknown of the exams: they are tricky
