Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is, in my opinion, the easiest way to satisfy a calculus requirement for any degree. The course is not easy, but taking it over winter session allowed me to retain a greater amount of information, and devoting all my time to one course meant that there were no other responsibilities or courses distracting me from learning the material. Dr. Hunt is also a great professor.

    Course highlights:

Homework is the difference between passing and failing, and as long as you completed the homework and paid attention in class, it was relatively easy to make an A. Business Calc is the application of mathematical principles to a business setting and I learned valuable tools for determining prices and wages.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you have any further questions on subject material, do not be afraid to email Dr. Hunt or even another business calc professor. They are more than willing to help you, and truly enjoy teaching math. Also make sure your calculator has batteries.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was extremely difficult. If you are not someone that can teach themselves well, do not take this class.

    Course highlights:

I learned that you need to go to every single class if you have ANY chance of being successful.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you do not know how to do math online, do not take this class. It is mostly online and is extremely difficult if you do not input the answers to problems in the correct format.
