    | Would highly recommend.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    This course is required if you are an IMC major. However, being a journalism student with an emphasis in public relations, I found this course to be very helpful. You learn to write and design for specific targeted audiences. You also learn how to design a website to display all of your work. Professor Meisel has a lot of experience and she is always willing to help you in all of the projects outside of class.

    Course highlights:

    My favorite part of this course was getting to create a public awareness campaign. You get to choose anything that means something to you personally and design a campaign around it. The project was a fact sheet, radio ad, and a donation press release. I really enjoyed getting to do a campaign for something that was personal to me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go to class. Missing one class can put you behind because you learn so much about one project each class meeting.
