    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is definitely a blow off but that is not always a good thing for your first semester of college. The first semester is when you develop some of your studying habits and with this course you aren't required to take the tests in class, or even attend. In the future this will not help a student as the next level of psychology becomes much more intense, very quickly.

    Course highlights:

We learned all about mental disabilities and how the different parts of the brain have different purposes.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Even though class may not be mandatory, still go. This will be the way you will learn the foundation needed for the next courses. Also go to class and take your tests there rather than cheating, hold yourself accountable.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is teaching me to be open-minded through the natural world. The professor uses a number of examples and explanations that grabs my attention to help me learn. Notes and assignments are well organized and easy to understand/follow. The class is a psychology lecture to help understand the basics of psychology. This professor purposely uses positively proven psych techniques to help the class learn. These techniques like reading before class and doing questions before the class help us (as students) understand the material. I would recommend this class. The material is interesting and it is a new topic that opens your mind. The more you learn, the more questions you will find. The material, the teacher, and the overall class was a ten out of ten.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class would be the learning of psychology. I find that this class allows me learn instead of memorizing for a test. In past classes, I would “learn” the material I needed for a week or two and then after that the information was gone. With this class, I understand and have been learning instead of memorizing. I feel that I learn the material from the time structure of the lectures and assignments. From this class, I have learned how the brain works and why it does certain things it does. I understand the different types of psychology and what each branch is for. We went through how nerves, auditory systems, visual systems, and more work together. We have gone through the different parts of the brain and how each functions for a human. There are many different parts of psychology that would take the class to explain, but the overall is the general and basic of psych. The material is straightforward and the teacher explains it in modern-day explains that just about always make sense. If there are any questions that need to be address, the professor is easily accessed through email.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the readings and assignments. It may seems like skipping a few will not really affect your grade but they are there to give easy points and help learning. The process of doing them decreased my time of studying because i learned things as I went along. I am able to say facts without the harsh studying because of the homework assignments.
