    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

Some highlights were when we had guest speakers that went to USM and talk about the jobs they currently obtain.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study study study.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Booth is absolutely incredible. She made a seemingly impossible course so fun and easy to understand. She loves her students as they were her own, and would drop the world for them. Any time we needed anything, she was always there helping us out with any questions, whether the questions were relative to class, or life in general.

    Course highlights:

Organic chemistry turned out to be one of my favorite classes I have taken in my entire college career. Being able to understand how organic chemicals are utilized in every day life is so fascinating to me, such as learning what makes up gasoline, and the difference between alcohols, ethers, alkanes, ect. Being able to identify seemingly impossible substances such as trans 1, 3 dichlorocyclopentane and understanding what that means is so satisfying to me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice makes perfect! Review your text book and work practice problems over and over again. Make sure you understand all of the definitions and how each carboxyl group works and what they are made of, and how they are affected by each other.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

No will take this course for fun for its usually a pre requisite for a lot of other things. There is a lot of information to retain.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of information I didn't know in 255. You will need to retain a lot of information especially functional groups and reagents.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you make a study plan, alone and with a group and be willing to sacrifice personal time to study. Make a reagent table.
