    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    The lecturer follows the textbook absolutely, and I could review the material on my own path.

    Course highlights:

    Being comfortable with the math parts in the algorithm

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    There is no programming assignments in this course, so if you plan to learn that, avoid this class.

    Course Overview:

    Forms the basis of Computer Science and Prof. Tran's way of teaching is excellent!

    Course highlights:

    The main topics of this course were as follows : Brute Force Algorithms, Divide and Conquer, Dynamic Programming, Min Flow Max Cut, NP Completeness. The understanding of these topics is highly coveted in the industry and this course is a must take for all the students.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure to take notes in class, attend every lecture and clear all your doubts in professor's office hours. If you don't keep up, your grades will fall.
