Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She was a very informative professor who helped us understand different mental disabilities in people. From personality and anxiety disorders to the way people think all the way to genetic mental disorders.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were mainly dealing with mental disorders. One of the disorders I found interesting was Schizophrenia. Most people don't know that they may be affected by this particular mental disorder. Once they find out they have it some people believe they can reverse it and it's impossible. Schizophrenia is basically an imbalance of dopamine which causes a person to not be able to distinguish between emotion, thought, behavior and reality. I really enjoyed her PSY200 class and the way she delivered this class

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to the student would be to make sure you attend class every day. Missing one class could cause you to fall behind. Keep up with presented material giving from the instructor to student. At least review the given material to refresh your memory from the lesson that has been taught that day or the day prior. Pop quizzes are a "thing". Remain focus and learn to enjoy your classes that's what makes learning easier.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love the course. I like the complexity of the brain and the environmental factors that have on the brain. This course was very interesting and would love to apply it career choice.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were coming to class and being put in to different groups to examine an individual and tying in different past scenarios with scenarios of today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

When considering this course have an open mind. Everyone is different and cool to learn more about different behaviors and why people behave the way they do. Just because an individual may seem one way, they may be another way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am actually a psychology major and this was my introductory class so i would recommend this course because I really enjoyed the teacher and learn even more why I want to this particular field of study.

    Course highlights:

I learned a ton of information on psychological disorders. Although everyone can experience criteria of abnormality, that does not make them an individual suffering from a mental illness.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell them to take it, because it will be fun, very educational and interesting.
