Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. McMillin is very thorough on the information. She provides you with power points that accompany the information and though the discussion board and lecture I feel 100% prepared for tests and quizzes.

    Course highlights:

I am awful at Chemistry, but this class was made easy by the professor. I left with a thorough knowledge of organic chemistry and never felt like I was in over my head!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to pay attention to the questions Dr. McMillin posts in the discussion boards. She asks questions that pertain to test or quiz information, not just busy work questions.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a fantastic course that enables the student to see the world in a new perspective. It educates you beyond the basics of why the world works the way it does. It is a great class to add dimension to your understanding of our world.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about organic chemistry. It was very intriguing. The chemical formulas were challenging, but after spending the class time applying myself, I now understand something that was completely foreign to me before.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would encourage anyone that has not taken chemistry to add it to their course list. You are only gaining invaluable knowledge that can expand your understanding of the world we live in.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very hard! This professor does not explain things in an easy manner. I feel as if he teaches us like we are chemistry majors. More than half of what he teaches is unnecessary and he bounces back and forth a lot.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are the labs. The course is so difficult and so much information that the labs actually give you a break from all of that information and you can work as a group.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to make sure to do all of the labs with extensive detail, try to score high on your quizzes, and donyour discussion board with technical information. Because he will expect you to know every single formula for the final, so basically do your best throughout the course because the final will be tough.
