    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Dabu really taught my classmates and I about what it will be like to be a nurse. She has a variety of experience that she has shared with us.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was when we were taken to the SIM care lab to explore the variety of rooms, and where everything is located. We even did a scavenger hunt to find certain items from our list.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to students is to be cautious on taking upcoming nursing courses. Dr. Dabu gave us an insight on how challenging nursing school is and how much studying will need to be done.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Transitions into nursing is an introductory course that is required for all nursing students to take. It does not matter if you are an online student or on campus student. The course introduces nursing as a profession for students along with its coursework needed for the BSN degree. Some speakers come to talk in the class including the Dean of the school and clinical compliance. They discuss when clinical courses will begin and how the process works from there on. Someone from the CAS will come to talk (CAS is the tutoring center). Students are recommended to take advantage of the CAS. Overall, this is a very easy class. HAVE FUN!

    Course highlights:

Speakers in the class that came were very helpful. Some of the speakers were the Dean, different instructors, CAS staff, Skills lab staff, and clinical compliance. It was an easy class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just be yourself in the class and participate. Become involved because this is probably the only class you will take where you do not have to worry about material being memorized. Just relax and get knowledge about the program.
