Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She wants you to succeed! She is an intelligent and engaged professor. Professor Parry gives great feedback on all of your responses and course projects. She responds to questions and emails quickly.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed this course because it taught me to open my eyes to the community around me. It taught me that being a nurse is not only taking care of individuals, but the vulnerable populations, and communities around me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read your assigned lessons and participate in class discussions, engagement is the key. Be positive and be open there is so much more to this course than getting a letter grade. If you are open and engage yourself this course will be more fun and enlightening than you know.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I liked this class because I had an interest in public health. I definitely opened my eye to the real health care struggles communities go through when resources are low.

    Course highlights:

I thought me how to make things work with limited funds, and keep those living in poor areas as healthy as they can be.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to really put yourself in the position of those less fortunate. Know how scary it would be if you couldn't afford healthcare.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have just completed this course and would highly recommend this course and nursing school as all of the staff have been very helpful and knowledgeable.

    Course highlights:

This course has been very helpful to my nursing career as you are required to complete milestones that entail the students going into your community and exploring the health related issues that are relevant and need to be addressed. The course and instructor give you resources to help solve the problems of your community.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend following the assignments listed for each week, read the required chapters in the text book, complete the required threaded posts each week and be respectful when responding to others posts, and also read the required lessons each week.
