Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Policy making is what guides the care provided by an organization and is an important road-map. We as nurse leaders need to know how and why to write policies using scholarly references and by best practice research. This course had a wealth of information to share that I will certainly use in many years to come.

    Course highlights:

One area was learning about what it takes to get involved with policy from a legislative standpoint. We all have a voice and for nursing we must use that voice to push nursing forward. Getting involved with organizations that can influence change is very important. This course allowed me to see from another aspect of legislature and policy and how we all can make a difference when we let our voice be heard!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Jump in with both feet and open your mind to implementing change and fighting for what is right.
