    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is an excellent course that teaches about the impact nurses can have on their local community. It includes hospice nursing and the importance that end of life comfort has for a patient and their family.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is being able to follow a home health hospice nurse. I learned how to make an assessment of the community to properly implement interventions to the people in the community.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise taking this course seriously. Even though this subject is not on the NCLEX it is a very important aspect to nursing. Take good notes in class and make sure you read your book.
