    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It's a class that is required by Chamberlain so you have to take it but it is honestly kind of boring and pointless and could just be mixed with NR 103 instead of two separate classes.

    Course highlights:

It was an easy course, lots of chapters assigned but reading all of them is not necessary to pass. Just pay attention in class and you will be fine. A lot of the questions are common sense.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice questions on EVOLVE are helpful for quizzes and tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great way to safely practice techniques and skills that will be used during your clinical in the following semester.

    Course highlights:

Sterile field, sterile gloves, tracheostomy suctioning, indwelling catheter insertion, NG tube insertion, injections

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to read the chapters required. Pay attention to the boxes in the chapters and review the pages that guide you through different procedures. These pages have areas that focus on clinical considerations and they were useful for exams and the lab.
