    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course, and I think that Professor Franke made it just challenging enough to get the most out of it. She wasn't hard, but she definitely kept you where you needed to be. I've had other instructors who didn't really care if you passed or failed, half the time I wondered if they even read my posts. Professor Franke wasn't like that and really pushed me to want to make the most out of the online experience.

    Course highlights:

I learned that prescribing the right medicine, while daunting, can be done. It was overwhelming at first, as there is SO MUCH pressure to pick the right therapy for your patient, but in the end I realized that it all comes down to clinical judgement and evidence based practice. You aren't expected to memorized everything, just know which resources to rely on.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to write three papers a week! There are no papers assigned, but there are three discussion boards a week and they are each about three pages long when you are done with them.
