    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you wish to earn your FNP this course is required. It does help you understand how to begin to gather data from patients.

    Course highlights:

The highlight was time in clinical setting actually performing the role of provider. The hands on portion was fabulous. If you have a good preceptor, you begin to see how to manage not just specific disease, but patient care and health maintenance.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do not fall behind. You must enter e-logs daily. You need to be sure to give yourself credit for pre-visit planning time. Read the assigned readings and take notes.
