    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking Professor Suffield for this course if at all possible. She is an awesome and amazing teacher that keeps your attention and actually makes the class fun.

    Course highlights:

I learned a ton of stuff, after all it is med surg. You go over diabetes in detail, the GI system, Cancer and much more

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to take this course to move onto your specialties. I highly recommend attending class. Doing the evolve quizzes to help reaffirm the information learned and ask questions if something isn't clear. Study groups are great, look up mneumonics and rewrite the things that need to be thoroughly memorized.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Med surg is a hard course to overcome. It requires a lot of reading on your own as well as focusing on what the professor stresses during class lectures. Be sure to follow and complete all of the readings and look at the charts the professor references to in class!

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course would be that the teacher taught the class really well. She made sure that everyone understood the information before she moved on to the next subject.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you don't get behind! You will become overwhelmed and stressed out if you fall behind on the readings and other homework.
