    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it was enlightening especially in the area of career options that most people don't think about. A career in nursing informatics only requires a person to have a nursing degree, one year experience at the bedside and the rest is on the job training. A person seeking a career in nursing informatics must love working with computers and some autonomy.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was being able to interview someone where I work that help set up computer programs for the nursing department. I learned how our charting graphics were designed and how these graphics were comparable to charting characteristics across the United States.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the required chapters for the week. Always ask the instructor for clarification of any questions that are not clear to you.
