    This course was made to help you to start thinking critically like a Nurse.

    Course highlights:

    My Professor was amazing and very informative. When I walked into her class I knew it was going to be a great day.

    Advice for students:

    Do not take it lightly and think it is a blow off class, it is far from that. It is very important to pay close attention to the instruction.

    Course Overview:

    This course, designed for the RN student entering the online RN to BSN program option, introduces the student to the knowledge, skills, attitudes, theory, and roles of the professional nurse across the educational continuum in the context of contemporary and future professional nursing practice. This course provides the student with opportunities to demonstrate skills for success as an online RN to BSN student using a variety of learning opportunities, including success resources provided to Chamberlain students.

    Course highlights:

    NR351 Transitions in Professional Nursing is designed to be the first course for the Registered Nurse (RN) student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). This course helps the RN transition to the BSN by exploring the theories, essentials, and future nursing core competencies of BSN nurses, as well as using the Student Success Strategies resource to promote success in online learning. The assignments offer a variety of learning opportunities related to the core competencies of the professional nurse and facilitate further development of the written communication skills of the professional nurse.

    Do the assignments and pay attention to learning the APA guidelines as they will be used throughout the rest of the courses.
