Alway watch the video of how to do a head to toe assessment and practice on a family member or a friend you will be tested by a demonstration at the end of the class. Always do your study guide its the only way to sit down in the review before a test.

You learnt to do a head to toe assessment which is something you will need in your nursing career and will actually do to patients almost everytime you see them specially in the hosptial settings.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it challenges one to think not only the normal but the abnormal as well. It serves as the basic to the challenges classes that follow.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class was the challenge. I learned how to effectively study and how to assess the patient and general picture of the problems that the patient could be suffering from.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't study for this class with note cards. Outline each chapter and study your normal as well as your abnormal values.
