    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great course. Out of all I have taken through this program, I feel this is the most beneficial.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is the material discussed. I have learned a number of steps needed to become a family nurse Practioner.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with your work, ask questions, and try your hardest not to fall behind. Start working on the final paper throughout the course, do not wait until the end.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Instructor Hudock is very involved and supportive. She provides real-life scenarios to help students apply textbook practices instead of just required reading. The class was extremely informative and helped me gain insight into my future career.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about the definition of the role of nurse practitioner and the scope of practice in my state. I also learned how the scope and role of the nurse practitioner varied from state to state. Another major thing Instructor Hudock taught us was about negotiating work contracts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to get acquainted with multiple textbooks and research databases. Be prepared to research laws and scope of the nurse practitioner in your state. Start on your APN interview and professional development paper well in advance. Make sure to use plenty of sources of support for discussion posts.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this professor because she is a very hard grader.

I learned about the various APN roles and how to put you in the mindset of an advanced practice nurse.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are very good at APA formatting.
