    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This history class starts at the very beginning! It's important to learn the origins of our culture!

    Course highlights:

I love the Reformation, so towards the end of the semester, we got to it and I was overjoyed!!!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The quizzes are keys to the test! If you study for the quizzes, then you'll be prepared for the tests!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the same information is taught to be put into multiple forms. Timelines, essays and book reviews are all examples of ways that the professor helps students to retain the information. Which is very helpful so that no matter the learning type, students will complete a project that will help them.

    Course highlights:

I gained the knowledge of what learning format works best for me. As well as if during a test the first answer that comes to mind is usually the right one, or if it's the second one. For Dr. Pardue's tests the chance is given to apply a backup answer for the tests multiple choice questions.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study every chance you get! Because there are not too many papers or worksheets to do for the course, studying is one of the only ways to retain a lot of information.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Even though this course does not fall under my major, it was one of my favorite classes to take at this college. Dr. Head made the course enjoyable and interesting. I am not a history buff in the least, but this was a fun class.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me a lot about time management. I also learned about ancient civilizations, but mostly how to organize my time in order to get all my homework done.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention during class. If Dr. Head puts it on the board, write it down. You will need it for the test. Also, pay attention and speak up during the class discussions. You will gain more from them than you think you will.
