Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This teacher is amazing and very helpful. She is hilarious and will tell stories that have something in common with the lesson.

    Course highlights:

There were many, many papers, but they were fairly easy, if you did the research.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You MUST do research. It doesn't matter the topic, you have to do research. Show up to every class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class takes the most effort of all that I've been enrolled in so far. You MUST show up every day and participate to be successful in English 101. Mrs. Rogers will bend over backwards just to help you understand the assignments. There's a LOT of essay writing, and a lot of discussions in class. I cannot stress to you enough that there is a lot of work. However, Mrs. Rogers knows how to make the class fun! The essays are all over a topic that you get to pick, and you're encouraged to use personal experiences in your essays, which makes them much easier to write.

    Course highlights:

I don't know where to begin. High school tries to teach you how important essays are, but none of what I learned there compares to how thorough as Mrs. Rogers is. I've learned the proper ways to use semi-colons, the differences in sentence structures, so many different ways to brainstorm an essay, how to use effective transitions, and most importantly, how to collaborate with strangers. This class has made me so much more comfortable when it comes to talking to strangers. Knowing that we're all in there working towards the same goal makes it easier.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. You have a new essay almost every week, you MUST get them done. It is so hard to raise your grade from a c in this class simply because the grading scale is different than other classes. Always do the work. If you forgot to do it when it was due, complete it anyway for half credit. Those points count!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

English Composition 101 is great class to learn how to write papers properly and accurately.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to cite sources on an essay. I am also able to write a longer lengthen essay as well.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate on an essay, always give yourself time to look it over. Make sure and take a day away from it, then look it over again.
