Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Essential Christianity is an introductory course which explores some of the basic principles and ideologies of Christian thinking. In this course, you will explore some of the spiritual disciplines often practiced by Christians. You will also compare Christian thought to that of other world views. You will also have an opportunity to learn and explore some of your personal God-given strengths!

    Course highlights:

Perhaps my favorite portion of the class was having the opportunity to learn about my personal strengths. It was interesting to learn about the gifts that my classmates and I possess, and how they play a role in our vocations.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the class materials on time! Many students avoided the readings. It is possible to get by without complete participation, however, the class is much less interesting and/or beneficial when you take this approach.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is highly knowledgeable about the material. He does an excellent job educating the students, and leading effective discussion in the classroom. Never once did the professor make me feel inferior or like i didnt know what i was talking about. if you ever have the opportunity to take any class taught by this professor, i strongly encourage you to do so.

    Course highlights:

Great discussion on basics of Christianity; Learning a working foundation for Spiritual disciplines; challenging but rewarding introspection of myself and my faith.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

DO NOT FALL BEHIND. The homework is simple enough to complete. Ask plenty of questions, but be prepared for a journey to discovering the answer. Professor Moody believes in finding the answers for yourself instead of handing you the solution. It's something i agree with because it has made me a better student.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Whether you're a student that grew up in church your whole life, or just curious about the Christian religion, you will learn exponentially more than you previously knew with this course. Dr. Nunnally makes the class fun and likes to make his students laugh while he is teaching. Even through learning so much, there is never a boring moment happening.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much, from why we believe what we do, to the original doctrine of it, and even to the discipline of strengthening your walk with God.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read the material BEFORE attending class. He likes to give pop quizzes.
