Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Business Management with Mr. Mark Alexander was a very interesting and informative class. We went over what a Business Scorecard is, Porter's 5 Laws, case studies, learning objectives, and many other things. Mr. Alexander made us, the students, think as if we were in management. This helped make us think in ways that a manager would have to think in, instead of just trying to imagine what the situation would be like he put us in that situation. It was an overall great class that was very useful and enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to read case studies and find management information such as types of leadership, levels of organizations, Porters 5 Laws, Gantt charts, how to properly motivate employees, and many other useful tools and information on how to properly manage people. The overall highlight of the class one part one of the final exam where the class was broken into teams who each chose a company to represent and create a SWOT analysis and help improve the company.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advise that I would give students who are considering this course are to take it and really pay attention in class. Go to every single class and take it seriously. This class is just the beginning for all the business classes that are ahead of you and this class really helps you put your foot in the business spectrum. This class is usually a requirement for most students to take in order for you to move onto the next level of business classes. Don't push this class off until it's too late. This is an enjoyable class with great information.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course was challenging. It was only an eight week course so there was a lot to get through in a short period of time. At times there was too much homework and quizzes and things could've been taken out or adjusted for a shorter class session but the class was educational.

    Course highlights:

How to work with a group of people from different cultures and classes in a very short period of time to create a presentation to sell our idea for a business modal

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the longer course. Especially if you are taking more than one class. There is too much information and too many projects to complete in half the time, especially if you are also working full time and taking more than one class.
