    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Holzer gives extremely difficult tests, many short answer and essay questions. Tests consist of one page multiple choice, one page of short answer, one page of matching, and pick five essay questions to write about. Many subjects are not covered in class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course had to be the comical stories the professor told, even though had nothing to do with the course. The professor showed videos at the beginning of most classes, even though the videos had nothing to do with class it woke up the morning class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to study regularly, take notes during class and while reading the textbook. Ensure notes are organized and all in the same notebook. Don't be afraid to ask questions, or join discussions.

    Course Overview:

History can sometimes be boring but professor Holzer finds ways to make the subject come alive and more enticing.

Fun facts about history no other teacher has shared

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is definitely worth it. I recommend the class

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Scott Holzer is more than a History teacher. He understands that History is made up of stories recorded and passed down across the years. Listening to him describe the building of America was like being in a movie theater for me. By the time the class was already immersed in the coursework and the essay writing, we scarcely realized we had been having fun while learning!

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge of course, but with the twist that the knowledge I remember is associated with the pleasure of a good story. Dr. Holzer connected the facts with rich, vibrant details that made them easy to remember.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared. Take notes. Listen!!!!!!! Do your homework. It's worth it!
