Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to any major. Dr. Pomianek has so much enthusiasm that it's hard not to get excited about the class.

    Course highlights:

The topics we covered in this class were super interesting and i loved the books and other reading material we had. It was also super helpful that the professor gave out many extra credit opportunities.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Please, do the readings and show up to class!! While the professor does put the notes online, she will occasionally offer extra credit in class over readings. If you miss class you will also miss out on those extra credit opportunities.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights were the documentaries we watched in class and some of the readings she gave us that were very insightful and interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to think critically and connect to the content from the book and her lessons in every paper.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course interested me from the beginning and being an Anthropology major it was a requirement. But this course and the professor exceeded my expectations. Not many professors understand you are taking other classes than the one they are teaching but she did. She knew most people were there for a Gen Ed requirement and the professor tried to relate the theories and topics to modern examples.

    Course highlights:

We watched a few films on different cultural areas and it was interesting to see how these different societies function. What their cultural norms were and compared them to ours here in the United States.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go over your notes and be sure to read the textbook
