    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's all memorization. The lectures are an hour straight of her reading off slides to you that you could read on your own. It's just a lot of memorization it doesn't require the ability to critically think whatsoever.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to take masses of information and learn what is important out of them. I learned the differences between the different plant phyla and animal phyla. I learned about two of the three domains.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to study the notes gradually, cramming for one of the tests takes about 4-6 hours to get all of the information memorized. If you do it gradually you save yourself the heart attack because none of the information is logical.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course may be difficult for some students, but the best advice I can give is always work ahead. Complete Mastering Biology as soon as possible and work through the active reading guides even though they are not required. Trust me, you'll be glad you did them.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot while I took this course. I had never really learned about other forms of life before this class so it was very eye-opening to learn how plants and different animals live and where all forms of life on Earth came from.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Begin studying for tests and lab practicals well in advance. Do not wait until the day before a test to begin studying because you will be up all night trying to retain all the information.
