    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is best to take first semester as a freshman, because it teaches valuable public speaking skills. It prepares you for presentations and public speaking outside of the classroom and within other courses.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to effectively communicate interpersonally, massly, and within a classroom. I learned about nonverbal communication and how vital it is in every day interactions.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid to be yourself behind the podium. It makes the speech more interesting and slows the class to see you for who you really are.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend it because it greatly eased my nerves when getting up to speak in front of people because we did so many presentations.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to work a room. I learned to make eye contact with everyone, to have good posture, to speak with confidence and carry myself with poise.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it! It's helpful. It'll give you the tools you need for so many occasions (job interviews, presentations, meetings).

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class if you find it hard to speak in front of crowds or need improvement when giving presentations.

    Course highlights:

I learned ways to build confidence while speaking. I also learned ways to please an audience when speaking and how to make things more relaxed and comfortable for all parties represented.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to be very organized and on time with with all assignments and activities. Also I would advise students to speak up and voice their opinion in class.
