    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

As a psychology major, the best place to start was intro to psychology. It was my first psych class and my favorite. The class was not incredibly in depth but focused on covering a wide variety of topics in a short amount of time. With that said, I never felt rushed or crammed. If you are not sure if psychology is your thing or not, this would be a great class to start with that would keep you interested and you would have fun learning. Another great part of this class and professor were the optional final exams. This of course depends on the teacher but she was incredible and made our finals optional.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the course was learning about our brains and how they function on a psychological basis. Learning how our memory works, or does not work for some was fascinating. I also enjoyed learning about positive reinforcement related to operant conditioning.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

This is a great place to embark on the journey of psychology. After taking this class I have genuinely received and stored information that I was taught. It is also a great course that will lead you in the direct field of study you would like to pursue related to psychology.
