    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course was thorough with clear lectures, straightforward assignments and fair quizzes and tests. Each section was clearly outlined and notes used in class were always available online so it’s not impossible to catch up when you’re absent. The course overall is challenging but fair.

    Course highlights:

Personally I struggle with calculus so I was forced to learn how to study for math courses. The outlines provided allowed me to study in my own way and better understand the subjects. Also, the in-class examples are specific and helpful even sometimes being interactive, keeping the student engaged in the lecture. This allowed me to apply what I learn to other problems on homework and tests.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, you absolutely need to keep up on notes in class and practice with questions from the book to keep the topics fresh in your mind. There are also many special equations and rules to follow that you need to remember so it's important to have those copied down for reference and memorizing. Don't expect to have equations listed for you on tests.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

i would highly recommend this course. Mr. Runnion has a very particular quirk about his passion for math. He will show you how awesome and incredible the math can be, and the incredible things you can do with it, neat tips and tricks along the way. He definitely inspires college students with his energy and love for mathematics.

    Course highlights:

highlights of this course would definitely be the ability to now differentiate easily and quickly fantastically long equations, therefore helping me progress in my math and science areas, particularly physics.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

definitely do your homework, and whenever you are lost you can ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS go and talk to him and explain whats going on. He is willing to help you but you have to ask for that help first to receive it.
