    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    It's a very challenging course but you learn a lot about the basics of chemistry.

    Course highlights:

    I learned about conversions, element characteristics, reactions and their products, and much more.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study hard and pay attention. Try to review your notes every day to help you retain the information better.

    This course is a requirement for many degrees

    Course highlights:

    I learned a lot of general chemistry knowledge. I learned about the elements, characteristics of elements, nomenclature, electron structures, Lewis dot, gas behavior, metal behavior, oxidation reduction reactions, and much more.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go to lead sessions to get extra help, study in groups, do your own work to be able to do well on the tests. The tests truly test your full knowledge of the areas of concern.
