Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I took this course in my high school as a dual credit course and it has helped me immensely with my writing skills. This is a course that all we do is write about different parts of our major. This course is for people that do not care for the literary side of English but want to improve their writing. We usually break down the paper and spend time peer reviewing and talking about things we are doing wrong and how to improve. It has been a great experience and i highly recommend it.
The highlights were that we deeply analyzed our writing and created an environment where we know we all want to write better and we will all help each other. I have improve in my writing a lot since before i took ENG 110 Writing I. I have learned things all the way from citing in MLA 8 to looking for places i have a dangling modifier. everything i have learned has prepared me for the college courses i have in the years to come when i will not have that kind of help with my essays.

Advice for students:
You must consider whether you are better at writing or literature. This class only consists of writing essays or maybe a presentation and an essay. To take this course you have to be prepared to not be walked through the basics of grammar but to consider the deeper mechanics of writing. The most important thing for this class is being able to manage your time effectively because your teacher is not going to walk you through writing your essay. You will be expected to dedicate time to writing and researching and use class time wisely.
