    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is nice to certain students, but it is a little scary to approach her to ask questions. Every quiz and exam contains trick questions. I would recommend taking this course with a different professor, as it is almost impossible to get an A in Ivy's class.

    Course highlights:

This class focuses on the basics of biomedical sciences. My favorite part was the genetics lesson.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book and teach yourself the lessons. Study hard and go to the bearclaw.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because, even though it is one of the most difficult courses I have ever taken, the pay off was great as you learn to much about the body.

    Course highlights:

Digestive system, immune system, lymphatic system, respiratory system, urinary system...

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to review the material after at least every class period. This class is not solely memorization, to pass you have to really know the information.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this course as honors unless you have plenty of experience under your belt. Starting off with this class non-honors is hard but doable. The honors course is near impossible to pass.

    Course highlights:

I did learn a lot from this class and Dr Smith cares about you doing well but the great amount of stuff you learn makes the class hard to do well in.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this class go to the review sessions!! also make sure to raw out the diagrams he gives you the makes a lot more sense than the slides do by their selves.
