    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend taking Dr. Brodeur, the course load might be heavy, but you learn so much material that you will need in the medical field. Dr. Brodeur helps in every way she can to help you succeed with her office hours to meeting up every Friday in the library to help students.

    Course highlights:

From this class, you gain terminology on genetic diseases. How the effect a person, treatment, diagnoses, and so much more all the way down to the the disease came about.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

What you need to succeed is to read the book before class, do not procrastinate studying, show up to class, pay attention, and go to pass.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The best class I have taken at Missouri State. The instructor is a pediatric geneticist so her knowledge of the material is amazing. The class is definitely challenging, so showing up to each class is important. Also the tests are short answer so you won't get by with just guessing.

    Course highlights:

Genetics was never even a field that I considered before taking this class. The professor was so knowledgeable about the subject matter that it is definitely a career that I will look more into.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to every class! The tests are short answer so you can't memorize the information like you would a fill-in-the-bubble test.
