    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend taking this course because it helped me to be able to differentiate between financial and managerial accounting and showed me the types of accounting careers that I may be interested in.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of real-world experience and tools to help me in my upper-level courses in school. Bass is a very helpful teacher who really cares about his students and wants everyone to succeed, but you definitely have to work for your grade.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in Samuel Bass's Accounting 201 Introduction to Financial Accounting, you need to come to class and pay attention, then go home and review the material learned in class over and over again. Study hard for his exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it not only teaches accounting, but gives real-world insights and creates useful knowledge and skills for the future.

    Course highlights:

Where money goes, how to account for money, mathematics skills, and real-world applicable skills.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard, read, practice, and it will be worth it when you are finished.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Bass is an excellent teacher and an entertaining person. I actually learned the material in the class as opposed to simply memorizing terms or formulas.

    Course highlights:

This is the very basics of accounting, but it gives you a good basis for other accounting courses you may have to take.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class. The material is extremely difficult to learn by just reading the Power-points or the book. You will probably have some questions, especially if you haven't previously taken bookkeeping or accounting courses before.
