Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although this is a mandatory class, I want every student to treat it like its your most important class. It might turn out that way. Public speaking is a tool we've all been using since we said our first words. Communication is the sole tool of any job. You must be a good communicator in order to be successful in your job. This class also will help you when trying to talk to your children, family, and friends. Being able to communicate in the correct way will help with issues and being able to solve them efficiently.

    Course highlights:

I personally was always the shy girl in class so this at first seemed to be my biggest nightmare. I very quickly became comfortable with my classmates and teacher. I feel as though my class is the closest and most understanding class that I have been apart of. This is because we are communicating everyday and in a more positive way. Being able to have small impromtus are the most helpful. You can talk to 25 people easily about a topic you already know a lot about. These help everyone to become more comfortable and ease the stress of being the center of attention.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to any potential students would be to breathe and prepare. If you prepare for your speeches and practice them then getting up in front of the class will be a breeze. No matter how much you prepare and practice, you will be nervous. Everyone will have a few butterflies but just taking a deep breath and smiling makes it easier.
