    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Putzu is excellent at teaching the information of the course but he grades very harshly on assignments. His instructions are very vague and he claims that there are no RIGHT answers but mostly right. If you are looking for an easy A, I strongly advise against this course. I am a straight A student and have not gotten an A on any assignment. If you expect to learn more about the bible in a Christian standpoint, that will not happen. It is strictly taught from a public university point of view.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot more about the cultures around where the bible was written and I also enjoyed the in class group work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take advantage of office hours early on. Do not wait to start writing assignments but complete them ahead of time and take them to him for advisement.
