Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. McCollom does not give information for his students to member just for test. Instead, he teaches students how to think, not what to think. Whether it is through primary source analysis or research projects, he prepares his students to think for themselves--a vital skill in the 21st century.

    Course highlights:

The main highlights of Dr. McCollom's class for me were the primary source analysis and research presentations. I learned to think critically and analyze author's arguments in the primary source analysis assignments. I learned to professional present the information I learned and the arguments I created to my peers during the presentation assignments.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Think for yourselves, get involved in class discussions, and turn your assignments in on time!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

O'Neal is brilliant and you will learn loads. It is just the right amount of challenging for a gen ed, thought provoking but not strenuous. The tests are also few and far between. They aren't too hard if you listen either.

    Course highlights:

I gained so much knowledge from this class!! Not only was j able to see the highlights, I learned little stories/details that pull the story together, such as last words and personal lives of the founding fathers.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class, take notes, and read your book. You'll be golden. It's not hard if you pay attention.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of the professor. He gives great lectures and he doesn't bore you with slide after slide of a bunch of words you can read yourself. He is very knowledge and he has a good sense of humour.

    Course highlights:

Being Canadian, I definitely learning a lot about early America that I didn't know before. Definitely helpful to understand the American Revolution and the early Presidents in the United States.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You definitely need to study. If you don't study and read the textbook that is recommend, you will have hard time passing the exams.
