    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is very advanced and prepares students for college leveled courses. The variety in topics helps students receive a well rounded education about poems, novellas and plays. Students also learn how to develop a well organized analytical essay. There are also various discussions included so that students are able to hear other peoples point of views on a certain topic.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were learning about how to analyze novellas, poems and plays. The class teaches students how to understand texts beyond the literal meaning that is stated on the paper. The major thing I learned in this class was how to write an AP level analytical essay.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are organized, focused and can manage time efficiently. Also make sure to always do the reading, If you do not read, then you will be completely lost in class and will not know how to do the assignments given. Much time is spent doing essays and charts, so make sure you manage your time well and do not leave assignments for last minute.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend because it helps you understand the literature world more than ever. It helps you fix up the way you write, the way you read, and the way you interpret things.

    Course highlights:

I gained excellent writing skills from this course. My writing would be quite boring and bland, but now it sticks out more and is more appealing. This course helped me prepare for my desired career as an author.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest that students study hard for this course. The work can be overflowing, but in the end it is all worth it.
