Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Quedensley does not like to use powerpoints to provide information. His powerpoints are used only to supplement what he is saying. In order to succeed in any of his classes you must pay attention to what he is actually saying. The examples he provides will show up on tests and quizzes, so you will actually need to pay attention. A lot of students do not like this approach. But I find that it is actually really beneficial to retaining information because you are not just copying words off of a screen. You have to listen and comprehend what he says to create your notes, which I find helps to retain the information. Dr. Q appreciates when students ask questions and he is always more than willing to help students out when they need it, so don't be afraid to ask.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed being able to learn about such a wide array of subjects relating to biology in one class. I found this class was enjoyable because he touched on so many different subjects, that if there was something you were interested in it would probably be brought up at some point.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you pay attention to what Dr. Quedensley says and write down everything you can. If you get confused just ask him to clarify or have him repeat what he said, because he will. Also, be prepared for lots of quizzes because he likes to give them out pretty often.
