Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Speech is a General Education course that is required in nearly all majors. Taking it as a Dual Credit eased up the anxiety of doing it during college, allowed freedom to mess up, and taught me a lot about how to present myself when addressing large crowds.

    Course highlights:

I think that the highlights of this course was learning about language between different cultures. I appreciated the insight of how different symbols meant different things. I learned that all cultures have different signs and gestures. Something else that I loved about my COM104 course was learning that communication doesn´t just happen verbally, it´s in our body language, who we are and how we present ourselves.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To have an understanding that it´s not about how hard the work is, because this course was fairly easy, it´s about getting it done. Taking college courses in high school requires a good work ethic because you have to apply yourself everday.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this corse if u want to work hard, and learn very little.

    Course highlights:

The spech, every second was played out for you in the silibus, there was nothing that was unregulated and unmonitored, one mistake could and would cost you a letter grade.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take a diferent teacher. Simply do that, being able to communicate to large crowds is important, but I strongly recommend a difrent teacher

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is required so its more the teacher that I would recommend than the class. Dr. Shawna Harris is strict with her rules, however she makes up for it with being personable and through with her lessons she included examples, activities and discussion to show and explain the various different aspects of communication.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the teacher Dr. Shawna Harris and the light workload.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up and pay attention in class don't just skim the reading chapters there not that long so take the time to actual read them and participate in class discussions.
