    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Absurd amount of work for a 100 level course.

    Course highlights:

Good idea of a timeline of beginning US History.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your work, and study more for quizzes.

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it thoroughly examines the foundation of our country. It is easy to understand, and it gives the clear American perspective on wars we were involved in. I knew very little about American wars before this course.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this class was studying the culture of America in the early 1900s through Sinclair's novel, The Jungle. I learned more about immigration, early factories, and meat processing through this course than through anything else I have learned.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend reading the textbook because there are online quizzes that test over specific information in the book that isn't necessarily taught in class.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Interesting content! Coursework isn't too difficult, participation in class and assignments is fun.

    Course highlights:

This class is required (elective?) so just go ahead and take it!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the syllabus and take advantage of early deadlines/teacher reviews of essays to ensure a good final grade.
