    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor was very prompt at answering questions you might have as a student, but also very lenient on the grades. The teacher wants you to succeed and does her best to make sure you have everything you need to do so. Also the assignments are relatively easy as well.

    Course highlights:

The highlight to me in this class was the knowledge and ability to live a healthier life. Through the course as a student you look at the life and ways to live a healthier life. you first look at how you eat now. you go to a web page of your choice and log what you eat, then the next week you eat healthy and log it again, then you compare each of these weeks .

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get the discussions done first and then work on the other assignments through the week.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course, because the material is very interesting and enlightening in many areas- not just limited to health. The focus of this course is physical and mental health pertaining to individuals and people around them, but it also delved deeper into social aspects involved, sexuality and gender identification, and new things learned in the medical fields through out history. Dr. DeCanio is also a great teacher who connects well with his students and makes connections between the material being learned and ourselves.

    Course highlights:

I learned many things in this class that were expected and unexpected. I learned more things about my body that surprised me and learned the impact of choices we make throughout life. This course actually changed the way I live.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study for this course. The material is easy enough to grasp, but at the same time a lot to absorb- not a good idea to try to jam it all into your brain a week before that test!
