    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because instructor Taylor is an experienced professor, who gives vast and understandable knowledge of the Criminal Justice system. Instructor Taylor challenges all of her students, and pushes us all to do our best in her class. You cannot get by without doing the work and listening to the lectures, thus you learn and actually understand the material in front of you.

    Course highlights:

I learned what it means to be a police officer in Florence, Alabama. I learned the daily tasks that accompany the job, this includes constant driving and careful considerations of others liberties. Thanks to Instructor Taylor, I learned why many officers do what they do, their logic behind decisions and the emotions they feel during and after an altercation. In this class , one will learn more about criminal justice than what is seen in the media.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to pay attention to every single lecture, because what was discussed might not seem important, but it will definitely appear on future exams. I also encourage people to ask as many questions as possible, helping you to learn and that makes Instructor Taylor happy.
