Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a pretty informative course. The professor gives case studies each week that explains real life situations and students have to answer the case using the course material. The course does involve a little outside research, however, I think over all a combination of the cases, the quizes and the exams helped me to retain the information much better.

    Course highlights:

learned how to apply marketing strategies in real life situations instead of only learning book definitions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Utilize the lectures, the power points and outside resources on topics for a better understanding of the material

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course heavily revolves around case studies and requires outside reading or prior knowledge in order to do well. Studying only the lectures and cases is not enough, even though we were told the book is not useful.

    Course highlights:

I learned that a professor will not always give you sufficient information in order to study for the course. I also learned that you must rely on other sources for education if your professor does not provide sufficient insight on course material and goals.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My only advice is to read the slides and search the internet for supplemental sources. It is adamant that other resources are used to study along with the class material. Otherwise, the exams are very difficult with only studying class material.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Course material was interesting. Opportunity to take quizzes and tests more than once.

    Course highlights:

What is Marketing? What is Strategic Planning? Types of Consumer Behavior.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid of the syllabus. There were 5 Cases with Quizzes, 5 exams and a final. Plenty of opportunity to get a good grade and learn the material.
