    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Earth Science Is a great class to take. It's fun and very laid back. Dr. Puckett is hilarious and he's really dedicated to geology. You get to go on a field towards the end of the semester to Red Bay and you get to hunt for fossils.

    Course highlights:

You gain a LOT of geology information from this course. You learn to identify sediments and fossils just by looking at them. You also learn how to identify time periods of certain rocks, fossils, and minerals. As well, you will learn of many different pre historic mammals and reptiles along with fish and bugs.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important advice I can give you is to go to class and get to know your professor. Class is very relaxed and laid back. The labs can be difficult, but you get to do them as a group which makes it much, much easier. Oh and don't text in class! You will most certainly be called out for it by the professor. Also, don't leave class early. If you leave class early, the professor will make you come back in or he will give you a 0 for the day.
