    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this class because it is a great class. I have learned more than I ever thought was imaginable. The teacher is amazing and is great at helping you to truly understand the subject.

    Course highlights:

I have learned so much from taking this course. I have learned about balancing chemical equations, polyatomic ions and their charges, the periodic table of elements, naming coordination compounds and complex ions, and much more.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always ask questions if you're confused!! She is very happy to help.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Jacoby is a great and colorful teacher who is extremely passionate in science. Just pay attention to his power points more than him since he tends to get slightly off topic. Also, make sure to go to the Recitation and ask as many questions as you can.

    Course highlights:

Conversions were one of the most interesting and difficult parts if you aren't the best at math. However, I loved learning about the periodic table of elements and how they interact with each other, but by the final, he requires you to learn full chemical equations so don't take them for granted.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the chemical equations as soon as he gives them to you.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. he has been my favorite professor so far at ISU.

    Course highlights:

Lectures follow the book closely. 1-3 extra credit questions (ECQ) per test are on somewhat obscure topics.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If Dr. he gets excited about something in class that's an "aside", it's a prime target for an ECQ.
