Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Really interesting. You learn about strange subjects you would never think of.

We talked about zombies and ghosts and how that relates to human knowledge and perception.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go over notes before every test. Pay attention during lecture because Bambi gives extra credit about tiny things she mentions.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class material in general isn't amazing, but Mr. Burgard does an amazing job of presenting it. His whole goal of the class is to help his students, and that is definitely refreshing to see. When you sign up for your schedule make sure you get Mr. Burgard for UI 100, unless you don't like having fun and learning through actual activity and participation.

    Course highlights:

Mr. Burgard is rich with life experience, and this is a huge part of his teaching style, he focuses on life and consequences during the course and allows you a peek into his own life and consequences so that you can learn from his experience and improve your own life based on his.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be active in class. The only way you don't pass this class is if you don't show up. So go to class, it will actually be fun and you will enjoy it. Use it as a break from your other stressful classes and you will have a better experience and easier transition into college life in general.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This professor was very hard to follow. We also did nothing that dealt with the theme of first year seminar. We took one test over university things.

    Course highlights:

Although the course was a little difficult to follow, we learned about many different things in life. We discussed evolution and we also discussed things about the brain.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to write essays every week!
