    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course helped me become a better writer and it taught me new ways to analyze information in writing. You get to work closely with peers and grow in your knowledge together. The professor is extremely helpful and he is always willing to help fix any problems you may have.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me how to give constructive criticism and how to take the suggestions of others. EN 100 also taught me to be creative with what I write and to not just focus on answering the questions in the prompt. Instead, take the prompt and make your answer something entertaining that a reader actually wants to read. I also learned how to work hard. Before taking this course English was an easy class for me. This class is difficult but very beneficial. My advice is to persevere through the long nights and retain as much as you can because it can, and will, assist you in other aspects of your life if you allow it.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course I would purchase binder clips, a binder, highlighters, and find a nice quiet place that you can write and study in without interruption. Prepare yourself for long nights and sore fingers. Also, make sure that you are not afraid to ask questions. Your teacher will try to explain it further if you do not understand, so just ask. Make sure you are willing to put in the work. This isn't a class that you can read the titles of the reading prompts and know what is going on. Read each assignment thoroughly and intently watch all of the provided videos. Finally, be kind to your teacher and fellow students. They will be more likely to help when you are struggling if you aren't rude, sarcastic, or unwilling to learn.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because it's a very good class to learn about writing essays correctly. Also because there is not an extreme amount of homework and this class is usually a requirement for many degrees.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this class are writing essays which includes preparing to write and correcting your writing. I learned better ways to brainstorm and come up with new ideas for your essay and writings.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you finish all your essays and write them correctly. May want to buy plenty of paper for this course there will be plenty of essays and a lot of writing assignments. Be very descriptive in you're writing and stay on track with the main point of your essays.
