Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was an online course and I liked taking it because it showed me how to work the problem out step by step. There was also other tools that could help you learn how to do the math problem.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was learning about the different formulas you could use in everyday life. I really liked how they showed the applications of those formulas, because everyone always used to say that we would never use this kind of math when we grew up.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have a question, even if it is an online course always ask your professor for help. Another tip I would use is to do some of the problems in the book on your own. Only following them with the class will not help you remember the formulas. Practice, practice, practice as they always say.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Kelly Ballard for College Algebra because of her ability to help students learn. I always struggled in math, and I New the course was not going to be easy. Ms. Ballard was welcoming and ready to help me when I visited her during office hours because she New that I wanted to do well on the course. She was also comforting when she could tell I was frustrated with learning logarithms. Or saying that RADicals are not rad.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was turning in my final exam, seeing my final grade, and passing the class. When I told some people that I was taking the course I got some discouragemt saying that I would not be able to pass the class. Their were some lessons better than others but I was so happy when I made the accomplishment of completing the course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Use your resources from; the teachers, students in the class, the school math lab, and even possibly getting a tutor if you feel that's what YOU need to succeed!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Graville made the material very easy to understand. She also required you to do the homework for an accuracy grade, which ensured that you understood the information that was taught.

    Course highlights:

I gained valuable information to carry with me into future math classes. I also had an amazing instructor who helped me all along.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

DO THE HOMEWORK! If you do not do the homework required in this class, it will be very hard to succeed. She only requires you to do 70% of the homework, which in all honesty should not be that difficult.
